Thanks for your feedback Joel :-)
Saved my car
I hit a curb at 40 mph nearly head on and this stress bar is so well made and strong, my driveshaft would’ve gone clean though the lower control arm mount if I didn’t have it, but instead it only put a dent in the mount, the stress bar was almost unharmed, but it did flex one of the mounts pretty badly. I’m so satisfied with it that I’m buying another one.

Hi Ryon, We are glad our product held up to the severe impact and thank you very much for sharing this info.
Great!
Made a big difference in handling. Steering response is way better and less body roll.
Does everything they say it will do.
Car felt a lot more composed under hard cornering on the track. Made it easier to choose and stay with your line.

Installation review 4 point stress bar, Mk1
Item precisely built. Does not clear the debris / heat/shield on US Westmoreland built cars for the shift linkage bearing (Removed for modification). Concerned about the clearance to ground, but car isn't lowered more than .75 inch. Requires loosening the Saddle Bushing bolts at rear of Control Arms to align studs in unibody.. Immediate change in steering feel and torsion in unibody while entering Driveways. I purchased this Item to prevent Suspension horn flex that would result in weld failure near Steering Rack.
Love this mod
This car should have had this from the factory. The difference in steering feel is night and day. I highly recommend this mod for any Mk1.
OMG!!!
My old 1983 GTI loves this part more than me, lol. No but seriously I feel the car was tearing apart from over 200k miles on the odometer. This four point bar really freshened the front end feel and response.
