BLEMISHED BAR - Stress Bar has a small scratch in the coating it's sold as-is, no returns.
Stress bars are an important bolt on for all water-cooled VW 's, whether it's for street or competition use. The triangulated* design of our upper-front stress bars help to eliminate the roll and twist of the front sheet metal frame. Construction consists of heavy wall 7/8" and 3/4" diameter steel tubing and is welded to 1/4" thick steel mounting plates. Finished in gloss black powder coat.
Euro Sport upper-front stress bars require no cutting of the firewall or body modifications. Unlike some of our competitor's bars, ours are true bolt-ons! Our stress bars are designed and manufactured to fit properly!
Hardware and installation instructions are included. Fits 8 valve engines only.

Great product - Recommend for MK1 VW
High quality welds and powdercoat finish. This upper strut bar made a noticeable difference in the amount of flex on my '89 Cabriolet. I later added the lower strut support and together the two have made a significant difference in the way the car rides and drives. Highly recommended.
