The Euro Sport Rear X-Brace Stress Bar is designed to minimize rear chassis flex under hard cornering, reducing understeer and improving stability in all situations. Constructed from heavy wall 1" diameter steel tubing with heavy-duty tig welded ends, it is finished in a satin black powder coat.

Very well made with strong. Quality of itself and color also good. But bolt seems weak to connect with car body. I finally using another bolt with more strong connection.

I am sorry you had an issue with the hardware for the rear X-Brace. I know the installation can be difficult sometimes with the nutserts but usually if the nutserts fit well the bar stays secure in place with the grade 8 bots supplied. Thank you

The Xbrace transforms the cornering control of the Mk6R less understeer and the rear feels so much more conceded .The fitting is simple with no need to remove any seats or trim. Only trim a few pieces of carpet. This should be standard factory fit and with out the sticker it looks OEM .

a world of differnce
this item changed my car completely! I installed it on my mk5 R32 and all the creaks were gone, the body felt stiffer in the corners and overall was a huge improvement. install took roughly an hour and was straight forward. I since got rid of the mk5 and upgraded to a mk6 R, this and the front brace are both on the top of my list

Purchased a Euro Sport Rear X-Brace Stress Bar uncoated for my MK6 GTI. I've had it powder coated in Candy White and it looks GREAT! The instructions were very easy to follow and installation took roughly an hours time. Thank you for the awesome product!

Functions as it should and makes a big difference in the corners. I would give it five stars, but the nut serts are of mediocre quality and easily strip.

It makes the rear a lot stiffer,It does not drop into holes and dips like it used to.After this I ordered the front brace

Bought this for my golf r. Made a big difference in cornering, making the car stay flat at all times. Would rate it 5 stars if it weren't for the hardware. The threaded rivets are very weak. 2 of them stripped out before fully torquing the bolts. Extras should come with the kit.
Rear X-Brace Stress Bar
Install was easy and went flawless. Instructions weren't for same year as my car, so taking out the rear seat was different than stated. The install is still the same, and very basic. Fit is perfect and looks good too. The car is stiffer and handles a little better in corners.

Surprised
I was pleasantly surprised to find this modification really changed the chassis feel in a positive way. Install was fairly straight forward and can't believe how rigid it feels in the car when you pull on it.
